What is Pollen? Pollen is the male seed of flowers that fertilizes the plant. It is formed at the free and end of the stamen in the form or golden microscopic powder. There are two kinds of pollen, the 'Anemophile' and the 'Entomophile' pollens. Anemophile is the one carried by the wind and Entomophile is carried by the insects. All the pollens gathered by the bees are of the potent Entomophile variety. Most allergies are caused by the Anemophile pollen which is carry by the wind. It is important for us to understand that pollen actually sustain lives on earth. Without pollen there will be no food and no lives. Complete Nutrition There are 22 known elements which make up the living functioning tissue of the humon body. Bee pollen is the only known food source that contains all of these elements.Bee pollen is the richest natural source of vitamins,minerals and trace elements, amino acids(pollen),hormones, enzymes, coenzymes and essential fatty acids known to man.It is considered a valuable protein source because the amino acids are predigested for maximum assimilation. It contains 5 to 7 times higher quality protein than meat, eggs or cheese.Bee pollen is not a drug - is a food - it should be taken because it's good for you, not because it tastes good. POLLEN Its Contents form a complete food, consisting of proteins, substances rich in nitrogen: sulphur, and phosphorus, and carbohydrates, or starch, oil and sugar. Pollen thus offters a rich supply of easily obatined nourishment to all inseets, especially to those not predaceous. Pollen grains vary in size from 1/100 of an inchin iris to 1/3000 of an inch in some saxifrages. The number of pollen grains is also very variable, but is usually large. Ingredients of Pollen Pollen is a very rich source or protein; average, 26%. It contains Vitamins A,C,D,E,M,B1,B2,B3,B6 and B72. The minerals it contist of calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, iron manganese, silicon, sulphur, chlorine, copper, sodium and titanium. Other ingredients are essential free amino acids, 11%. Reducing sugars, average 29%, fructose, glucose,stachyose,sucrose,raffinose and pentose. The vegateble oils average 5%, water 3 -4%. Also presentare biotin,rutin; the digestive enzymes lecithin, lactic acid, giumatic acid, peptones, growth hormones, steroid, vernoid, quanine, xanthine, hypoxanthine, nucleim, polypeptides, DNA, hexuronic aci, ribose, desoxyribose and probadly many other substances yet unknown to man. |
